Individual

Counselling

Our fully qualified counsellor has over 20 years’ experience working with people affected by disability.  She is committed to assisting people though person-centred counselling practices and works with an unconditionally empathetic yet positive approach. She is passionate about assisting people to express their feelings, reach their goals and maximise their dreams.

We offer flexible service delivery with options including verbal, written and
visual communication methods. Technology and drawing materials can be used to enhance communication.

Counselling support is available to assist people on a regular basis to manage ongoing issues such as self-esteem, stress, anxiety or depression. It is also available to assist people to work through any difficult situations they may be facing, such as life transitions, relationship issues, loss or trauma.

Short Term

Accommodation

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

We can support you to have a short term break away from your normal supports. STA funding covers the cost of accommodation, food, activities and support for the duration of your time away.

  • An opportunity to plan and experience a mini holiday, try new things and meet new people
  • Develop new independent living skills and experience what it might be like to live away from the family home
  • Allow your informal supports an opportunity to take a break from their caring role
  • Temporary supports if your usual support network is unavailable for a short period of time

Why Choose Spring Lifestyle Supports?

We believe the people we support should always:
